Our completed contract works at 38 Threadneedle Street were to refurbish the former Royal Bank of Scotland into 4 storey offices and supply services for a restaurant based on the ground floor. We had a vast amount of structural modification to endure; the contract was installed with an additional 26 Tons of steel work to assist in creating an enhanced space. We installed new services including water, gas, a mains electric substation and two new lifts. This contract had been stated as problematic due to the works been designated upon a red line route, thus no parking, waste removal or unloading facilities were obtainable. We corresponded and co-operated with City of London in a diligent manner to the extent of acquiring road closures for crane lifts, which in turn lead to all works being completed successfully within PC time. The contract was awarded a BREEAM Rating of ‘Very Good’ and we were also assessed under the Considerate Contractor Scheme of who awarded the site with a ‘high level of compliance’. We feel that this contract displays confidence, experience and commitment in relation to future contracts and really shows how to work within confined and regulated areas of work.

  • BREEAM (Very Good)
